you my friend can call me shakz. im a seventeen year old high school student. and a volunteer firefighter for my town. the military has become my life. i live life one day at a time. trying to enjoy every minute. i have been through things that have shaped me to be the person i am today and for that i am very thankful. i am a very open and loving person and enjoy sharing my thoughts.

Last night was one of the most important nights of my life. I graduated from FF1 and can now go interior at fires. It’s was 91 hours of hell but last night made it all worth it. One on my greatest achievements.

Knowing that your ten thousand miles away hurts enough but to know that your company got attacked and not bein able to contact you is the worst feeling in the world. I grew up with you. I remember having the biggest crush on you and you would always play along with it. Pretending that I was the only girl for you. And now I can’t belive how old you are. I don’t know if you’ll ever know how proud of you I am. As much as you do for the military and as much as you love it. We love you too. Your mother needs you to come home, so does your girlfriend, your friends and me. I talk to God daily and you always come up. Stay safe. Stay faithful. And most of all. Come Home.
